Sikkim, cradled amidst snow clad
mountain peaks is one of the most ideal destinations fo r
the trekkers and adventure enthusiasts. In the
southwestern part of Sikkim, in the main Himalayan
range, lies the majestic Khanchendzonga , standing tall
with a height of 8,585 m (28,169 ft) above sea level. In
addition to Khanchendzonga, there are several other
mountain peaks which offers some good mountaineering
opportunities.
Beautiful snow clad mountains present myriad challenges
for the mountaineers but cannot stop these enthusiasts
from exploring themselves.
Day 01 : Bagdogra – Yuksom base camp for Trekking
(West Sikkim) (5 hrs).
Day 02 : Stay on Yuksom for preparation
Day 03 :Trek from Yuksom to Bakhim(2764m) O/N
(5hrs)
Day 04 :Trek from Bakhim to Tshokha (3000m). O/N
(1 hrs)
Day 05 :Trek from Tshokha to Dzongri. (3950m)
O/N. (5 hrs)
Day 06 :Dzongri halt (3950m) O/N.

Day 07 : Trek from Dzongri to Thangshing. (3841 m
) O/N. ( 5 hrs)
Day 08 :Thangsing (3841m) - Base Camp (approx.
4310m) 3 hrs.
Day 09 :Base Camp (4310m) - Camp I - Base Camp
(4310m) 5 hrs.
Day 10 :Base Camp (4310m) - Camp I: 4 - 5 hrs
Day 11 :Camp I –Summit-Mt.Thinchingkhang (6010m)
- Camp I: 7-8 hrs
Day 12 :Camp I (approx. 5510m) - Base Camp
(4310m)(4-5 hrs).
Day 13 :Base Camp - Goechala – Thangshing-Lamuni
(5-6 hrs).
Day 14 :Thangsing (3800m) - Tshoka (3050m) 7 hrs.
Day 15 :Tshokha (3050m)- Yoksum (1780m) 6 hrs
Day 16 :Yuksom – via Khechopalri Lake Pelling O/N
Day 17 :Pelling – NJP/Bagdogra drop.
